10 Social Media Resolutions To Consider: Part 2.
As continuation of the previous post made, let us consider the second half of the most needed social resolutions one should consider during the next half of the year, 2019. This month of June will mark the end of the first half of the year and as we look back, we can definitely rate our business performance or personal performance to see how well we have done, during the past six months.
The time is ticking by and we cannot afford to spend the rest of the year 2019, repeating the methods that yielded no meaningful result, while expecting different results. Therefore, resolve to make this year your best year of social media, for you and your business by following these simple, practical steps:
- Optimising Your Posts - One thing you must know is that what works in one platform may not always work in all platforms. Think of making the most of your post in different format, considering that in Twitter you have just 140 character to express all you have to do. Thus, optimise your description and images for each post on each social media platform.
- Making It Move - There is nothing more eye-catching than something that is attractive and moving! With the ability to upload videos, gifs and visual and audio files on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest etc, you can keep your business moving using such mediums.
- Using The Right Hashtag - As part of social media, hashtags are what makes it reach your target audience, however, one must do it right by using the right hashtags. You should not hashtag everything but only use the perfect ones to reach your perfect customers or audience, on every post or ad made.
- Mastering Your Mobile - Mobile smartphones are here to stay, and whether you are ios or android, Apple or Samsung or others fanatic or not, you cannot afford to miss out of the huge potentials attached to these systems! Most of your target audience or market or customers are on mobile, so you must make your website or business pages or profiles, mobile friendly.
- Using The 80/20 Rule - Finally, posting with the knowledge of the 80/20 rule will be an added advantage. It is not always about you or your business but more about your audience or customers or market segment. Your post should be 80% about them or what they are interested in and just 20% about you or your brand or business. Never forget to apply this rule if you must be successful in the next half of the year, 2019!
