Finally, we have the last part of the forty (40) marketing concepts for curious managers coming to us today. Before deciding to swing the pendulum towards other important aspect(s) of the life of an entrepreneur as we seek to get informed, which in turn should help make well-informed decision. Marketing, effective and efficient marketing cannot be over emphasized and shouldn't be underestimated, of its powerful influence over what kind of results an entrepreneur should have when presenting his/her products, idea or services to the customers or clients, who actually need them.
In this second part of the post, there is broadening and deepening of what has been laid down previously, and building upon that foundation, an entrepreneur will be better equipped to do marketing exploits.




These remaining phases and steps to take are as much as important as to what we have discussed in the part one of this post. Thus,


Phase Four: Content Marketing - This form of marketing involves creating and sharing online materials such as posting a photo or making a video, with focus to stir up interest your products or services. This may not bee expressly focused on your products or service, but on the long run it will drive traffic to your business platform or website. This can be done by the following steps:
  1. Create blog posts of lists or how's-to that are specifically related to your niche (products and services)
  2. You can create a 101 guide for freshers in your industry thereby making them to spread your business without knowing it.
  3. Offer free content upgrades plus resources, especially for those who frequently visit your blog.
  4. Send out weekly emails, either of promotional codes or period, new products or value-added services.
  5. Make a quick video that explains frequently asked questions on your products or services or in the industry of your business.
  6. Start giving a behind the scenes peek of your process from time to time and elaborate more on the each time.
  7. Also show or talk about a project or work in progress, as much as you can and as often as possible.
  8. Always think about your visuals, using them in a way that makes your content more easily read, understood and absorbed - You can achieve this by breaking up paragraphs, using infographics and post icons etc.



Phase Five: Promotional Marketing - From the efforts you have put up in the previous phase, you can make such a good impact on your business through the steps to follow, in this phase. Below is the final list of what you should do to achieve that:
  1. With the content you have created, make a version of it as a promotional material to be shared on all platforms that you have a presence, whether on Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram etc.
  2. Try hosting a challenge or competition or reaching our to your existing customers or target customers or the communities wherein they live.
  3. Make a bundled version of your products and services and follow through with some eye catching promotional ads.
  4. Holding a flash sale or pay-what-you-can for a product or service to attract the attention and interest of your customers or clients.
  5. Always keep all available promotional materials/items such as your business card with you for sharing.
  6. In a more interactive and interesting way, host a giveaway in a public place such as a shopping mall, displaying your interest in helping others.
  7. Give out some exclusive offers to your email list or those who share your contents or participate in your competitions, challenges etc.
  8. Finally you can create a hashtag that customers, clients and people can use for a chance to have their posts or photos shared by you.
